This comparison review is between the Kolcraft Sit & Step 2-in-1 Baby Activity Center and the Bright Starts Around We Go Activity Station. I chose to compare these two baby activity centers mainly because they’re both designed to grow with your child. Both the Kolcraft and the Bright Starts Baby Activity Center offer activity stations with seats intended for use once Baby is around 4 months old, or can hold his/her head up unassisted. They both offer plenty of interactive, colorful toys that will keep your child entertained, as well as lights and music.
The Kolcraft Baby Activity Center is more of an exersaucer with a seat that swivels 360 degrees and base that allows it to rock. In the first stage, Baby can spin and rock in the exersaucer, discovering all 20 activities including a fun house organ, big top picture book, and an electronic center with lights and music. The Bright Starts Around We Go offers a seat attached to a table. The seat rotates 360 degrees around the table, allowing your baby to walk safely. The table offers several different activities including a flip book for fun tunes and silly sounds, as well as an electronic piano with 3 modes. The Kolcraft Baby Activity Center offers multiple height adjustments that grow with your baby. Once Baby is 30 pounds or 30″ tall, around 9 months or so, the baby activity center transforms into a baby push walker with a wide stance, allowing your little one to learn to walk, safely. The Bright Starts Around We Go Baby Activity Center’s seat has a maximum weight recommendation of 25 pounds, or 30″ tall. Once Baby has outgrown the seat, it can be detached, and the Around We Go Activity Center turns into a toddler activity table.
The only other difference is price. The Kolcraft Baby Activity Center lists for $99.99, whereas the Bright Starts Around We Go lists for $114.99.
Both of these Baby Activity Centers reviewed well, however, the Bright Starts Around We Go had more reviews with a higher customer satisfaction percentage. I like that the Kolcraft offers a push walker, that’s probably my favorite feature. Sometimes there’s a transition period from the time when a baby grows out of his/her exersaucer to when they start walking. It’s hard to keep them entertained during this period, and that’s why I like the push walker, it gives them a chance to start learning with a little help. I also love the Bright Starts Around We Go Station, mostly because it gives your little one a chance to walk right away, without having to use a baby walker. And the fact that the station doubles as a toddler activity table down the road is a huge bonus.
Currently at Amazon, the Bright Starts Around We Go is listed for $114.43, and the Kolcraft Sit & Step 2-in-1 Activity Center is on sale for $90.79.
