So you’re stuck between the Baby Einstein Musical Motion Activity Jumper and the Fisher Price Rainforest Jumperoo. I can see why, they have many similarities. However, there are a few key differences that may help you decide.
First of all let’s examine the similarities. Both the Baby Einstein Jumper and the Fisher Price Jumperoo offer a seat that swivels 360 degrees, a high seat back for added comfort and support, and fabric covered springs to keep little fingers safe from pinching. Both seats are also removable, and machine washable. Both baby jumpers also offer fun, interactive, age appropriate toys that help your baby learn cause and effect, as well as entertain them with music and lights. Both the Fisher Price Jumperoo and the Baby Einstein Jumper are also rated to go up to 25 pounds or 30″ tall.
Now for the differences. The Baby Einstein Jumper has 6 different height adjustments, whereas the Fisher Price Jumperoo only offers 3. Also, the Baby Einstein Activity Stations are all removable for easy cleanup, and it folds flat for storage. The Fisher Price Jumperoo offers motion sensors that encourage your baby to jump by rewarding them with lights and music. It also folds for storage, but not near as flat as the Baby Einstein Jumper. The Fisher Price Jumperoo also has overhead canopy leaves with dangling toys, whereas the Baby Einstein Jumper offers soft toy bars with 8 links for other toys. Both baby jumpers require batteries, the Baby Einstein requires 3 “C” batteries, and the Fisher Price requires 3 “AA” batteries.
As far as reviews go, they both had excellent reviews. The Fisher Price Rainforest Jumperoo was the best, with 1075 out of 1136 reviewers rating it 4 to 5 stars, with 5 being the max. In other words, 94% of those who bought the Fisher Price Jumperoo, LOVED IT, and would recommend it to anyone. The Baby Einstein Jumper had less reviews, but they were still excellent. With 114 out of 142 reviewers rating it 4 to 5 stars. So again, in other words, 80% loved it, and would also recommend it. Personally, I do like them both, but I love the motion sensors on the Fisher Price Jumperoo. However, I also love the fact that the Baby Einstein Jumper folds flat for storage, and has a toy bar with 8 toy links for other toys. It’s a tough call. The listing prices are a little bit different, with the Fisher Price Rainforest Jumperoo listing for $95.99, with a current sale price of $89.99. The Baby Einstein Jumper lists for $89.99 as well.
